Carnival Cruise Line launched The Next Course, a fleetwide culinary enhancement program. The initiative introduces new specialty restaurants and bars for ships debuting in 2027 and 2028.
The cruise line serves over 100 million meals annually. Carnival used data from these meals to identify the dining trends driving this overhaul.
New specialty concepts feature coastal seafood by Emeril Lagasse, Hawaiian and Asian cuisine, and Mediterranean-inspired venues. The program also adds refreshed main dining menus, freshly baked bagels, and pop-up breakfast and ice cream bars.
The company expanded mobile ordering to improve guest convenience. This move aims to leverage Carnival's scale to increase customer loyalty within the competitive travel sector.
