NatPower and Tesla signed a multi-year agreement for over 25 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of battery energy storage systems (BESS).
The initial projects will be located in Italy and the United Kingdom.
NatPower will own the infrastructure to scale battery deployments across the European continent.
The large-scale rollout aims to support renewable energy transitions and enhance grid stability.
Tesla VP Mike Snyder highlighted the deal as a critical expansion of the company’s energy business beyond vehicle manufacturing.
