Xos Inc. secured a $3 million follow-on purchase order from a leading autonomous fleet operator. The agreement covers 12 Xos Hub mobile energy storage and charging systems. Xos shares surged as much as 30% in after-hours trading following the announcement.
The autonomous operator will use the mobile units to expand operations across North America and Europe. These systems allow for rapid infrastructure deployment without the costs or delays of permanent utility grid upgrades.
This deal builds on an existing partnership between the two companies. Xos delivered its first Hub units to Europe under this relationship earlier in 2026.
