Zalando has appointed Ray Cao as Senior Vice President of Zalando Partner Marketing Services (ZMS), effective July 15, 2026. Cao joins the company following executive leadership roles at TikTok and Google.
The appointment aims to scale Zalando’s retail media division and enhance data-driven advertising for over 7,000 brand partners in Europe. Cao will focus on expanding global advertising platforms to drive growth.
Joanna Rogers, the former head of ZMS, will transition to focus exclusively on her role as SVP of Propositions. She will oversee Zalando’s entire fashion and lifestyle portfolio.
The move underscores Zalando’s commitment to growing its B2B services and diversifying revenue beyond traditional e-commerce. The company intends to leverage its customer data to provide enhanced value to its brand partners.
