ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. appointed Dr. Chen Lichtenstein as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. The appointment becomes effective July 1, 2026, at which time Dr. Lichtenstein will also join the Board of Directors. He succeeds Eli Glickman, who announced his resignation on April 15, 2026.
Dr. Lichtenstein previously served as the CFO of Syngenta Group and as President and CEO of ADAMA Ltd. His professional background also includes senior executive positions at Goldman Sachs.
The board chairman cited Dr. Lichtenstein’s experience leading complex international organizations as a primary asset for the role. The company specifically noted his expertise in managing global growth and integration processes.
