SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won is expected to attend the meeting. The two chipmakers will collectively invest over 100 trillion won ($65 billion) over the next 10 years.
The capital will fund a new semiconductor industry cluster in the southwestern Hunan region. This initiative aims to expand production capabilities outside the capital region by utilizing local infrastructure and resources.
