Bernstein analysts project significant upside for Apple as the company monetizes artificial intelligence without the massive capital expenditures required by its peers. Apple plans to leverage its vast ecosystem and third-party partnerships to generate revenue, avoiding the heavy infrastructure investments seen at rival firms.
The company is expected to detail this strategy at the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Bernstein anticipates that new AI features will accelerate hardware replacement cycles among existing users.
Apple may also introduce a premium Apple Intelligence subscription service. Additionally, the firm expects Apple to collect commissions on AI-facilitated transactions, such as ride-sharing bookings initiated through calendar events.
