Apple launched the iPhone 17e today, a new mid-range smartphone starting at $599. The device utilizes the A19 chip to power Apple Intelligence AI features. Hardware specifications include a 48MP main camera and the addition of MagSafe wireless charging.

Apple doubled the base storage to 256GB while maintaining the previous generation's $599 entry price. The strategic release targets market share currently held by Android competitors.
