Samsung is integrating Apple’s AirDrop functionality into its Quick Share service. This update enables seamless sharing of photos, videos, and files between Galaxy devices and Apple products. Supported Apple devices include the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
The feature debuts on the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra models. South Korea will receive the update on March 23. Rollouts in the United States and other major markets will follow later that week.
Samsung plans to expand support to additional Galaxy devices at an unspecified future date. This initiative follows Google’s late 2025 introduction of AirDrop compatibility. Google first launched this feature on the Pixel 10 series.
