Samsung Electronics has launched the Galaxy S26 smartphone series, featuring the S26, S26+, and the flagship S26 Ultra. The S26 Ultra introduces a hardware-based privacy display designed to prevent visual hacking by limiting viewing angles. Pre-orders for the new lineup are currently open, with shipping scheduled to begin on March 11.

The series features deeper artificial intelligence integration through partnerships with Google and Perplexity. These AI enhancements focus on providing more proactive user assistance.

Samsung increased U.S. prices for the base S26 and S26+ models by up to $100. Rising memory chip costs drove the decision to adjust pricing for the standard models. The starting price for the flagship S26 Ultra remains unchanged.
