Tata Electronics confirmed a cybersecurity incident on June 22, 2026. The Indian manufacturer serves as a critical supplier for both Apple and Tesla.

Ransomware group World Leaks published over 630 GB of stolen data on the dark web. The leak contains more than 200,000 confidential files.

Exposed documents include engineering drawings and quality inspection standards for iPhone components. The data dump also reveals manufacturing specifications for Tesla’s refreshed Model 3.

Tata Electronics stated the incident has not disrupted its business operations. Sources report that the company received a ransom demand following the breach.

Apple has launched an independent investigation into the data theft.
