Airbnb has expanded its Reserve Now Pay Later feature to travelers globally. This payment option allows guests to book eligible stays without an upfront cost. Guests pay for the reservation just before the listing's free cancellation period ends.
The worldwide rollout follows a successful launch in the United States in August 2025. Airbnb reported that the initial U.S. launch accelerated bookings between the third and fourth quarters of 2025.
The expansion aims to attract more bookings by reducing initial financial barriers for travelers. A company survey found that 55% of U.S. travelers use flexible payment options when available.
