Airbus and Philippine Airlines (PAL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for nine A350-1000 widebody aircraft. The agreement, announced at the Farnborough International Airshow, will double PAL's total commitment for the model to 18 aircraft once finalized.
The deal supports the airline's long-haul fleet modernization and expansion on premium transpacific routes. PAL selected the A350-1000 for its range and fuel efficiency to meet growth and sustainability targets.
