AMD announced two budget-focused gaming processors at the Computex 2026 conference. The Ryzen 7 7700X3D features an 8-core Zen 4 architecture for the AM5 platform. This processor launches on July 16 at a $329 price point. The chip provides a cheaper entry point for AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology.

AMD is also relaunching the Ryzen 7 5800X3D as a 10th Anniversary Edition for the AM4 socket. The revived processor will be available on June 25 for $349. This release offers a high-performance upgrade path for users on existing DDR4-based systems.

AMD extended its official support for the newer AM5 socket through at least 2029. The company pledged to release new processors for the platform until that date to ensure long-term viability for customers.
