Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) raised $4.75 billion in its largest-ever senior unsecured note sale. The four-part offering features maturities ranging from 2029 to 2036. Strong investor demand allowed the company to secure favorable pricing terms.
AMD will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes and debt management. This includes potentially retiring $875 million in bonds maturing in September 2026.
The capital will fund strategic expansion into the artificial intelligence sector and data center investments. AMD shares rose more than 5% following the announcement.
