Amazon invested over £15 billion ($20 billion) in the UK during 2025. This spending maintains progress toward a £40 billion investment target for 2025 through 2027. The 2025 capital funded new operational sites, expanded studio facilities, and additional office space. Amazon also launched a drone delivery trial.
The three-year strategy includes constructing four new fulfillment centers in Hull, Northampton, and the East Midlands. These facilities are expected to create thousands of new jobs. Amazon is also upgrading its existing network of more than 100 buildings.
The investment covers the expansion of London corporate offices and the redevelopment of Bray Film Studios. Amazon Web Services will direct a portion of the funds toward cloud computing and AI infrastructure.
