Amazon has introduced a new "Sassy" personality style for its Alexa+ subscription service, marking the first personality option specifically designated for adults. The new mode is designed to deliver responses with what the company calls "brutal honesty with a dose of devastating wit," and may use strong colloquial language or make sharp comments.
The "Sassy" style can be activated by voice command and is designed to maximize humor and directness. Amazon has stated that while the tone is edgier, the personality has defined boundaries and will not generate explicit sexual content or engage in harmful or illegal conversations. This launch follows the introduction of other styles like Brief, Chill, and Sweet on February 25, 2026.
