Amazon lost its latest attempt to dismiss two UK mass lawsuits. The combined legal actions are valued at up to £4 billion ($5.41 billion). The Court of Appeal denied the company permission to appeal the cases' certification on Thursday.

The lawsuits accuse the tech giant of abusing its dominant market position. Plaintiffs allege Amazon manipulated its Buy Box feature to favor its own products and logistics services. Both cases proceed on an opt-out basis, automatically including all affected UK retailers and customers.

One case represents over 200,000 third-party retailers. This specific claim is valued at up to £2.7 billion. A second claim on behalf of millions of customers seeks up to £1.3 billion in damages. Amazon maintains that the allegations are without merit.
