Amazon Web Services (AWS) defeated an antitrust lawsuit alleging it monopolized the cloud-computing market. A federal judge dismissed the claims brought by rival Subspace Omega LLC.

The judge ruled the plaintiff failed to sufficiently argue a "dangerous probability" that AWS would achieve monopoly power. This legal standard formed the basis for the dismissal.

Subspace, a now-defunct tech firm, originally filed the lawsuit in 2023. The decision came from the US District Court for the Western District of Washington. The judge dismissed the claims with leave to amend, allowing Subspace the option to refile the case.
