Amazon.com Inc. finalized a new agreement with the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) to maintain approximately 80% of its current package delivery volume. The deal concludes more than a year of negotiations.

The agreement avoids a previously threatened two-thirds volume reduction that posed a significant financial risk. Amazon remains the largest customer for the postal agency.

The partnership generates approximately $6 billion in annual revenue for the USPS. The contract underscores the agency's critical role in rural delivery as Amazon expands its internal logistics network.
