Amazon.com Inc. has reached a settlement with drivers in its Flex program. The lawsuit alleged the company did not pass along all customer tips to the workers.

Both parties filed a joint notice of settlement in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington. The filing confirms the parties reached an agreement in principle to resolve the matter.

The terms of the current settlement were not disclosed in the court documents. This action follows a previous case involving similar allegations of withheld tips.

In that prior case, Amazon paid $61.7 million to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). The current agreement addresses a lingering legal issue for the e-commerce giant regarding its treatment of gig economy workers.
