Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AT&T announced a partnership to modernize connectivity infrastructure in the United States. AT&T will move its network workloads from on-premises technologies to the AWS cloud.
The agreement involves two key infrastructure exchanges. AT&T will use its high-capacity fiber network to connect AWS data center locations. Amazon’s satellite internet division will provide connectivity services to AT&T.
This collaboration aims to create a more resilient, scalable, and intelligent connectivity ecosystem for the U.S. The partnership leverages AWS's cloud capabilities and AT&T's expanding fiber infrastructure to jointly innovate on future connectivity solutions.
The companies plan to disclose further details about their collaboration at the Mobile World Congress in early March 2026.
