Amazon will launch 27 Project Leo internet satellites on Monday morning, December 15, 2025. The mission will lift off from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket will carry the payload.

This launch advances Amazon’s plan to build its low Earth orbit (LEO) satellite megaconstellation. The constellation aims to provide high-speed, low-latency broadband internet globally, specifically targeting underserved communities. This marks the fourth Project Leo mission utilizing the Atlas V rocket.

The Project Leo initiative, formerly Project Kuiper, plans to deploy approximately 3,200 satellites in total. The network will compete directly with SpaceX’s established Starlink network. Amazon has planned more than 80 missions to complete the constellation buildout.
