AWS and NVIDIA to Deploy 2 Million GPUs, Scaling Global AI Infrastructure

Amazon Web Services (AWS) and NVIDIA expanded their strategic partnership to meet rising global demand for AI infrastructure.

The companies plan to deploy 2 million additional NVIDIA GPUs across AWS’s global network during 2027 and 2028.

This collaboration introduces NVIDIA’s Vera CPU-based infrastructure to the AWS platform.

Integration will span the AI stack, including AI factories, networking, and robotics.

The initiative supports frontier labs, global enterprises, and startups transitioning from pilot projects to full-scale production.
