Amazon Web Services (AWS) and HUMAIN, a company backed by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), announced a major partnership to develop an "AI Zone" in Riyadh. The collaboration will see the two companies provide, deploy, and manage up to 150,000 AI accelerators in a new data center facility designed to handle cutting-edge AI training and inference workloads. The new infrastructure will utilize the latest NVIDIA GB300 AI chips alongside AWS's own Trainium AI accelerators. Under the agreement, AWS becomes HUMAIN's preferred global AI partner, and they will work together to bring AI compute and services from Saudi Arabia to customers around the world.
