Amazon Web Services (AWS) confirmed drone strikes damaged three data centers in the Middle East.
Drones directly struck two facilities in the United Arab Emirates. A third facility in Bahrain sustained infrastructure damage from a nearby strike.
AWS warned customers of a potentially prolonged recovery process due to the extent of the physical damage.
The company recommends that regional customers back up data and migrate workloads to alternative AWS regions to mitigate service disruptions.
