Emirates SkyCargo plans to add up to 10 Boeing 777 freighters by the end of 2026. This expansion will significantly increase cargo capacity, fueling growth and enabling network and scheduling expansions. The airline currently operates a freighter fleet of 11 Boeing 777Fs.
The new aircraft stem from Emirates’ existing outstanding orders, covering both production models and passenger-to-freighter conversions. This expansion is central to the carrier’s strategy for the coming year.
The announcement aligns with Boeing’s focus on ramping up production in 2026, particularly for its 737 MAX narrowbody jets. Preliminary data shows Boeing delivered around 600 aircraft in the full year 2025, marking a significant operational milestone.
Separately, financial firm Bernstein reiterated a "Buy" rating for Boeing on the same day. Bernstein set a target price of $267.
