The U.S. approved a potential $2.316 billion Foreign Military Sale (FMS) to Singapore.
The sale includes up to four Boeing P-8A maritime patrol aircraft. It also includes eight MK 54 Lightweight Torpedoes.
The deal supports Singapore's national defense goals and capability against maritime threats. Boeing acts as the principal contractor.
Separately, Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines signed an order for nine 787 Dreamliner airplanes. The order was finalized in December 2025.
The agreement supports the carrier's long-haul travel growth. This builds upon Ethiopian Airlines' existing large fleet of Boeing jets.
