BlackRock CEO Larry Fink warned in his annual letter that rapid artificial intelligence advancement threatens to significantly widen the wealth gap.

Fink stated that AI-generated economic value will likely accrue to large companies and wealthy investors who build and deploy the technology. He noted that past technological revolutions concentrated wealth among existing asset owners and predicted AI could repeat this pattern on a larger scale.

Fink urged for broader capital market participation to counteract this trend. He emphasized making long-term investing more accessible to ensure AI-driven growth benefits more people.
