Berkshire Hathaway advanced its acquisition of Taylor Morrison Home Corporation following a regulatory milestone. The Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act waiting period expired at 11:59 p.m. ET on July 6, 2026. This expiration removes a primary U.S. antitrust condition for the transaction.
The companies first announced the all-cash merger on May 31, 2026. Taylor Morrison will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway upon completion.
The deal remains subject to further regulatory approvals. Taylor Morrison stockholders must also vote to approve the merger.
