Coinbase Global Inc. has announced its agreement to acquire Echo, a platform focused on onchain capital raising for crypto projects, for approximately $375 million in a cash-and-stock deal. The acquisition is Coinbase's eighth of 2025 and is intended to democratize early-stage investing by making it more accessible for communities to invest in new projects. The deal will integrate Echo's tools, including its Sonar product for self-hosted public token sales, into Coinbase's ecosystem. Echo has already facilitated over $200 million in fundraising across roughly 300 deals. In premarket trading following the announcement, Coinbase (COIN) shares saw a slight decline of 1.37%.
