Coinbase has launched regulated cryptocurrency futures trading for Coinbase Advanced users across 26 European countries, including Germany, France, and the Netherlands. These offerings are provided through the company’s MiFID-regulated entity.

The platform now offers futures tied to assets such as Bitcoin and Solana. It also introduced a specialized equity-index product that combines major technology stocks with crypto-linked equities.

This expansion supports Coinbase’s strategy to become a global exchange for everything by consolidating diverse asset classes on a single platform. The launch provides a regulated alternative to offshore derivatives platforms as the region prepares for the full enforcement of MiCA regulations.

Traders can access both perpetual-style and dated contracts. The platform offers leverage of up to 10x on specific products.
