Coinbase expanded its global crypto compliance network, TRUST, and launched the TRUSThub platform. The platform helps service providers meet international Travel Rule regulations through secure, peer-to-peer data sharing. This decentralized approach eliminates central data repositories to lower adoption barriers for firms.
The TRUST network now includes major participants such as BNY Mellon, PayPal, Circle, Kraken, and OKX. BNY Mellon’s formal entry signals a growing convergence between established financial institutions and the digital asset industry. The initiative establishes common compliance standards to facilitate broader institutional adoption.
