Salesforce expanded its Headless 360 platform to transform cloud products into reusable enterprise capabilities. This shift allows authorized AI agents to access data and business logic without using a traditional user interface.
The update includes the general availability of the Data 360 Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server. Salesforce also launched an open beta for the Headless 360 MCP Server.
These components enable AI agents from Agentforce, ChatGPT, and Claude to discover and use Salesforce functionalities in real-time. Developers can leverage this to automate complex workflows using established security, governance, and business logic.
