Salesforce unveiled Koa, its first in-house AI reasoning model, at the annual Dreamforce conference. The model automates complex, multi-step tasks within the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) software.

Developed in partnership with Nvidia, Koa utilizes the Nvidia Nemotron model as its foundation. Salesforce trained the system using synthetic data derived from 30 years of CRM experience rather than actual customer data.

Benchmark tests indicate Koa matches or surpasses leading general-purpose models on CRM-specific tasks. The model reportedly produces three times fewer errors than its competitors.

Koa is currently available through a pilot program for select customers. Salesforce scheduled general availability for the winter of 2026.
