CoreWeave, Cerebras Systems, and BCE Inc. are partnering to build a 300-megawatt AI data center in Saskatchewan. This facility will rank among Canada's most powerful computing hubs for artificial intelligence.

BCE is investing C$1.7 billion to construct the facility. The project is projected to generate C$12 billion in economic value over time.

CoreWeave will serve as a primary tenant by securing 140 megawatts of capacity. The company plans to utilize Nvidia graphics processing units (GPUs) at the site.

The first phase of the project is scheduled to begin operations in the first half of 2027.

CoreWeave's stock rose following the announcement. Positive news from a competitor further strengthened investor confidence in the AI cloud computing sector.
