Delta Air Lines CEO Edward H. Bastian sold 100,000 shares of company stock on February 26. The transaction generated approximately $7.03 million, with shares sold at prices ranging from $70.25 to $70.32.
Bastian retains direct ownership of more than 1.36 million shares following the transaction. The sale was disclosed in a Form 4 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Delta's stock price has since fallen nearly 5% below the executive's exit price. Shares traded at $65.68 during the February 27 after-hours session, following a significant decline during the regular trading day.
