Walt Disney Co. offers voluntary early retirement packages to senior executives. This initiative aims to reduce costs and reshape its workforce. The time-limited offer, detailed in an internal memo, targets U.S.-based executives at the director level and above. These include employees in the Disney Entertainment, ESPN, and corporate segments.

Employees must be at least 50 years old with 10 years of service to qualify. Other criteria also apply. This initiative forms part of a larger restructuring effort under CEO Josh D'Amaro. That effort has already involved multiple rounds of job cuts. The package includes separation pay, extended vesting for equity awards, and continued healthcare coverage.
