The Walt Disney Company has initiated a large-scale overhaul of Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park in California. Disney Experiences Chairman Thomas Mazloum announced the project at the D23 fan event. Walt Disney Imagineering is currently developing plans for the transformation.
The project aims to restore the land's 1955 legacy while introducing new attractions and expanded open spaces. This reimagining serves as a component of Disney’s broader multi-year investment strategy across its global parks.
The company has not yet released specific details regarding new or replacement attractions. The project timeline places the overhaul after the completion of the Avengers Campus expansion at the adjacent Disney California Adventure park.
