The Walt Disney Company has reportedly re-acquired the rights to the Pokémon animated series.
The show will begin airing on Disney Channel and Disney XD starting August 6, 2026.
Disney+ will add the series to its streaming library the following day, August 7, 2026.
The acquisition returns the global franchise to Disney’s portfolio to support its linear and digital platforms.
