Disney confirmed a major expansion for Magic Kingdom's Frontierland at the D23 event. The new area is named Piston Peak National Park. This marks the first dedicated Cars-themed land at Walt Disney World.
The expansion includes a high-speed journey and a family-friendly ride. The Parkitecture design style will blend structures into the natural surroundings. Disney expects to reveal more details throughout the D23 weekend.
Disney and Formula 1 extended their partnership through 2028. The collaboration now includes the Cars franchise and a new merchandise collection.
