Ford Motor Company will invest $1 billion to build a new paint shop at its Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville.
The state-of-the-art facility replaces the current shop to improve paint quality, efficiency, and environmental sustainability. Groundbreaking for the project is scheduled to begin by the end of 2026.
The Kentucky Truck Plant is Ford’s largest and highest-revenue manufacturing site in the United States. The facility produces one new vehicle every 45 seconds. It manufactures the F-Series Super Duty pickups, the Ford Expedition, and the Lincoln Navigator. This investment modernizes critical operations and reinforces Ford's long-standing presence in Kentucky.
