GE Aerospace agreed to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) for $11.75 billion. The company will purchase the manufacturer from private investment firms Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners. This transaction marks GE Aerospace's largest acquisition since becoming a standalone company.

The deal aims to resolve production bottlenecks for engine castings that have persisted since the pandemic. CPP currently supplies complex components for GE’s major commercial and military engine programs. GE Aerospace intends to bring production in-house to increase capacity and accelerate engine technology development.

GE Aerospace will finance the acquisition using $7 billion in cash and new debt. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2027. The transaction remains subject to regulatory approval.
