General Electric secured a five-year U.S. Navy logistics contract worth up to $2.87 billion. The agreement covers 17 components of the F414-GE-400 engines. These engines power the Navy’s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler fleets.
The contract begins September 1, 2026, and runs through August 2031. It aims to maximize engine availability and combat readiness for the aircraft.
The Navy funded an initial delivery order of $198.2 million. GE will perform the majority of the work in Lynn, Massachusetts. Remaining operations will take place in Jacksonville, Florida.
