Alphabet’s Google is negotiating with Blackstone, KKR, and EQT to provide their portfolio companies with access to its artificial intelligence models. These non-exclusive talks aim to streamline AI adoption across the numerous businesses owned by the investment giants.

The move responds to multi-billion dollar joint ventures recently formed by rivals OpenAI and Anthropic. Unlike those competitors, Google’s potential deals focus on direct model access rather than establishing separate consulting businesses. This strategy opens a massive new sales channel for Google across a wide array of enterprise clients.
