Humanoid robotics firm Apptronik secured $520 million in a Series A extension, bringing the total for the round to over $935 million. The company’s total capital raised now nears $1 billion.
The new funding was raised at a significant multiple of the original Series A valuation. One source places the company's new valuation at approximately $5 billion.
Existing investors Google, Mercedes-Benz, and B Capital participated in the financing. The round also attracted new investors including AT&T Ventures and John Deere.
Apptronik will use the capital to scale production of its Apollo humanoid robot. The firm plans to expand commercial deployments in the logistics and manufacturing industries. The funding will also support its AI development partnership with Google DeepMind.
