Irish autonomous drone delivery company Manna announced the launch of its first full-scale U.S. operation in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which will serve as its American headquarters. The company plans to establish a manufacturing facility and expects to create over 1,000 local jobs over the next three years.
This expansion into the American market positions Manna to compete with services from technology giants like Alphabet's Wing and Amazon's Prime Air. Manna has already partnered with DoorDash and Uber Eats for its services in the U.S. The company chose Tulsa due to its growing drone innovation ecosystem and supportive infrastructure.
