Alphabet’s Google Cloud and Palo Alto Networks significantly expanded their partnership to deliver enhanced security for AI systems and cloud infrastructure. The contract carries a substantial financial commitment. Reuters reported the deal is valued close to $10 billion over several years. Palo Alto Networks will pay this amount directly to Google Cloud.

The agreement enables customers to protect AI workloads and data on Google Cloud using Palo Alto’s security platforms. The partnership focuses on providing end-to-end AI security, covering everything from coding to cloud deployment. This integration simplifies security for clients operating in hybrid and multicloud settings.
