Google has unveiled the Fitbit Edge, a fitness tracker priced at $179.99. It will replace the Fitbit Charge 6 and end the entire Charge product line. The Edge is positioned between the screenless Fitbit Air and the more feature-rich Pixel Watch 5.
The Edge has a 1.34-inch OLED display and built-in GPS. Its health-tracking sensors measure metrics including ECG and SpO2. The tracker offers up to seven days of battery life and will work with the revamped Google Health app.
Pre-orders began on October 12. Shipping is scheduled to start on October 27.
