Google's YouTube is quietly increasing the prices for its Premium subscription plans in the United States. The standard individual plan will rise by $2 to $15.99 per month, while the family plan, which allows up to five members, will see a $4 increase to $26.99 per month. The annual individual plan is also increasing from $139.99 to $159.99.
The price for the Premium Lite and Student plans will each increase by $1 to $8.99 per month. The new pricing is effective immediately for new subscribers, while existing members are being notified via email and will see the changes reflected in their billing cycles starting in June 2026. The company stated the update will allow it to "continue to improve Premium and support the creators and artists you watch on YouTube."
